It feels like it was just yesterday we had to bid farewell to this gem of a show, but it, apparently, is closing in on a decade now since Fringe left our TV screens.
In the time since that happened, we’ve seen most of the actors go on to (sometimes) bigger and better things. They have appeared on a diverse range of shows, from psychological thrillers to medical and supernatural dramas.
And while that’s grand and all, this show was a great launchpad for a lot of them and is one of those shows that only gets better the more distance we put between us and its heyday.
A lot of shows have since come and gone, but nothing has quite managed to fill the gaping void that has been left sitting in our hearts. Is it even fair to hold every similar show that has (and will) come after it to the same standard?
It is safe to say Fringe more than held its own despite the constant comparisons to its spiritual predecessor — The X-Files — and maybe even surpassed it in some aspects. Something which, again, a lot of shows have tried and have had a mixed rate of success with.
Fringe was a lot of people’s favorite when it was still on-air, and maybe it was yours too. Maybe it still is. In that spirit, we’re asking the sole question: how closely were your watching when it was on?
