First Look at ‘The Boys’ Season 2
It’s almost time for our favorite crew and love-to-hate Supes to return to us, and if the photos and trailer are any indication, we are in for an absolutely insane season.
The Boys Season 2 finds Hughie, Frenchie, Kimiko, Butcher, and Mother’s Milk “in a little bit of trouble,” as Butcher states in the trailer. Their faces are plastered everywhere, and they are the targets of a nationwide manhunt, a minor hurdle in their goal of kicking Supe ass and rescuing Butcher’s wife.
We’re also getting a new Supe — Stormfront, played by Aya Cash (You’re The Worst). She’s going to be a threat to Homelander’s popularity and control of The Seven as she manages to rally the public around her rather quickly.
The Boys Season 2 is going to premiere on Amazon Prime Video a bit differently.
The first three episodes of The Boys Season 2 will premiere Friday, September 4. Afterward, a new episode will drop each Friday leading up to the Season 2 finale on October 9, giving us a total of 8 episodes.
The best part about Season 2? Going into it knowing that The Boys has already scored a Season 3 renewal.

Episode description: The even more intense, more insane Season 2 finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
