After way too long of a hiatus, Wynonna and company are back and ready to kick off the season where they left off: trying to find a way into the Garden to save Waverly. Wynonna Earp returns Sunday, July 26 at 10/9c on Syfy.

I May Destroy You — Monday, July 27

Arabella continues her investigation in the face of a devastating development while Kwame comes to terms with memories of his assault. I May Destroy You airs Monday, July 27 at 9/8c on HBO.

Episode Description: After discovering a demoralising development in the investigation, Arabella hatches a risky plan and convinces an adverse Terry to bankroll it; still navigating his own assault, Kwame challenges himself to explore the full spectrum of his sexuality.

Follow the life of a former boy bander looking to revive his career as an adult in this 6-part British comedy. Maxx: Season 1 drops Tuesday, July 28 on Hulu.

Series Description: 6-part British comedy series stars O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) as a former boy band star attempting to revive his music career as an adult, while Christopher Meloni plays his manager. Fagbenle also wrote and co-directed the series.

In the aftermath of Enoch’s great sacrifice to save everyone from the time storm, the team find themselves in a drastically different Afterlife led by Malick and Kora. Will they get any closer to stopping him? Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Wednesday, July 29 at 10/9c on ABC.

Episode Description: After Enoch’s sacrifice propelled them out of the time storm, the team arrives back in 1983 where Nathanial and Kora are hard at work building an army of hand-selected anarchist Inhumans at Afterlife. When the agents split up to cover more ground, Daisy is tasked with protecting Jiaying and is compelled to confront her mother for the first time since her death; while the others quickly learn they’ll need to face yet another supercharged former enemy in order to stop Malick.

In My Skin Season 1 — Thursday, July 30

Follow a teenager’s life as they try to live a normal life and grow up while hiding some of their family’s issues. In My Skin Season 1 debuts Thursday, July 30 on Hulu.

Series Description: The acclaimed Welsh coming-of-age comedy, which follows a teen (Gabrielle Creevy) who attempts to live a normal life while hiding her father’s alcoholism and mother’s mental health issues.

The Hargreeves’ are back and starting off the season apart in the aftermath of their escape. Will they be able to find a way back to each other as they’re scattered through time and get out of it alive? The Umbrella Academy: Season 2 drops Friday, July 31 on Netflix.

Season Description: Five warned his family (so, so many times) that using his powers to escape from Vanya’s 2019 apocalypse was risky. Well, he was right – the time jump scatters the siblings in time in and around Dallas, Texas. Over a three year period. Starting in 1960. Some, having been stuck in the past for years, have built lives and moved on, certain they’re the only ones who survived. Five is the last to land, smack dab in the middle of a nuclear doomsday, which – spoiler alert! – turns out is a result of the group’s disruption of the timeline (déjà vu, anyone?). Now the Umbrella Academy must find a way to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday, put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse. All while being hunted by a trio of ruthless Swedish assassins. But seriously, no pressure or anything. 

Seriously Single — Friday, July 31

Dineo’s thoughts on relationships start to shift as she finds herself trying to navigate the world of dating with her Noni in this romantic comedy that leads to self-discovery and finding out what it is they exactly want out of life. Seriously Single debuts Friday, July 31 on Netflix.

Movie Description: Seriously Single tells the tale of the serial monogamist Dineo (Fulu Mugovhani), as she navigates the modern-day dating world alongside her best friend and partner in crime, the commitment-phobe Noni (Tumi Morake). When Dineo meets Lunga (Bohang Moeko) who appears to be the man of her dreams, she begins to uncover what she wants in life and love, as Noni unfolds her own story with Max (Yonda Thomas), the bar owner with a heart of gold. The wonderfully comedic misadventures of Dineo and Noni shows the beautiful power of having strong friendships.

Beyoncé’s visual album based on her album, The Gift, will be getting a Disney debut, as she gives viewers rich visuals and story to go along with the music. Black is King debuts Friday, July 31 on Disney+.

Muppets Now — Friday, July 31

The Muppets are getting “unscripted,” following Scooter and his mission to make deadlines, delivering content for the upcoming series. Muppets Now premieres Friday, July 31 on Disney+.

Season Description: “Muppets Now” is The Muppets Studio’s first unscripted series and first original series for Disney+. In the six-episode season, Scooter rushes to make his delivery deadlines and upload the brand-new Muppet series for streaming. They are due now, and he’ll need to navigate whatever obstacles, distractions, and complications the rest of the Muppet gang throws at him.
