Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of May 17th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to while stuck inside.

This week’s picks include Bob’s Burgers end for the season, Snowpiercer debuts, the beginning of the end of The 100, and more.

Chicago Fire’s Monica Raymund is returning to television with a whole new role as an agent whose life is changed when she discovers a dead body on the beach. Hightown debuts Sunday, May 17 at 8/7 on Starz.

Episode Description: NMFS agent Jackie Quiñones leads a fun, free-wheeling and booze-addled life, then she uncovers a dead body on the beach, and she is plunged into the center of a complicated and dangerous opioid ring investigation.

Bob’s Burgers – Sunday, May 17

It’s finale time for Bob’s as Louise gets asked about the subject she’s become an expert on. Bob’s Burgers airs Sunday, May 17 at 9/8 on Fox.

Episode Description: A classmate comes to Louise for lessons in how to get in trouble; Bob reluctantly agrees to bring Jimmy Pesto his hernia medication.

Run – Sunday, May 17

Billy and Ruby try to figure out what to do next now that they’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. Run airs Sunday, May 17 at 10:30/9:30 on HBO.

Episode Description: Stranded in the middle of nowhere, Ruby and Billy argue about what to do next; affected by each other’s desperation, the two must confront their actions; Laurel makes a gruesome discovery and receives a visit from Detective Babe Cloud.

The train is speeding off onto TV as the new TNT series takes a deeper look at the workings of the Great Ark Train. Snowpiercer debuts Sunday, May 17 at 9/8 on TNT.

The Baker and The Beauty – Monday, May 18

Vanessa strikes back after learning how Noa and Daniel initially met causing the pair to go into damage control mode. Will they make it work? The Baker and The Beauty airs Monday, May 18 at 10/9 on ABC.

Episode Description: Noa and Daniel’s worlds are turned upside down when Vanessa ignites a scandal. As Noa works overtime to salvage the reputation of her company and ease tensions with her board of directors, Daniel tries to smooth things over with his family. Meanwhile, Piper (Georgina Reilly) learns that Lewis has been keeping a devastating secret.

Stargirl – Tuesday, May 19

The CW is adding another superhero to their roster. Stargirl follows Courtney whose life is turned about as she moves to a new town and uncovers a secret. A superhero is born as Stargirl makes her CW debut on Tuesday, May 19 at 8/7 on The CW.

Episode Description: When Courtney’s (Brec Bassinger) seemingly perfect life in Los Angeles gets upended with a move to Blue Valley, Nebraska with her mother Barbara (Amy Smart), stepfather Pat (Luke Wilson) and stepbrother Mike (Trae Romano), she finds herself struggling to adapt to her new town and high school. But when Courtney discovers that Pat is harboring a major secret about his past, she ultimately becomes the unlikely inspiration for a new generation of superheroes.

Patton Oswalt: I Love Everything – Tuesday, May 19

Patton Oswalt is bringing a new comedy special coming, covering everything from aging to his daughter’s art show. Patton Oswalt: I Love Everything drops Tuesday, May 19 on Netflix.

Netflix brings another book adaptation to life as the series follows Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue, as they deal with love, life, and careers in their small town. Sweet Magnolias Season 1 drops Tuesday, May 19 on Netflix.

It’s the beginning of the end for Clarke, Bellamy, and company as they try to figure out a way forward in Sanctum as new threats continue to appear. The 100 returns Wednesday, May 20 at 8/7 on The CW.
