The 100 Season 7 Trailer: The Final Fight for Peace
It’s almost time for the final season of The 100 to debut on The CW, and we’ve got some photos and a full-length trailer to share with you! It’s time to start theorizing.
When we last left our group of delinquents, they had stumbled upon the not-so-lovely settlement of Sanctum, and The 100 Season 6 followed them as they learned just how messed up the people of Sanctum truly are.
The 100 Season 6 Episode 13, “The Blood of Sanctum,” involved a bloodbath, Diozya’s full-grown daughter Hope coming out of the anomaly and stabbing Octavia, Octavia disappearing, and a death that’s too painful to speak of.
It was a lot to process, and there are still tons of questions that hopefully the Season 7 premiere will answer.
The premiere is titled, “From the Ashes,” and based off the episode description, below, the goal is to rebuilt Sanctum, which is a little funny since they destroyed it, and try to establish peace.
SEASON PREMIERE — Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her friends attempt to rebuild Sanctum as a new threat rises in the woods.
Every season seems to find Clarke and company trying to survive and make peace with those around them, whether it is peace with each other, the grounders, the people of Mount Weather, or the people of Sanctum. None of their attempts have gone all that well, and that’s putting it mildly.
Since this is the final season, one can hope that this time will be different, but there’s this gnawing doubt that says prepare for the worst. This show has delivered more than one heartwrenching death in its run so far, and so it’s expected that we are in for some pain during this final season.
All I ask is that Murphy makes it out alive. He’s the cockroach of the group; he must survive.
As Clarke says in the trailer, she’s worried that fighting is starting to become who they are, and it’s arguable that it has been who they were since they first landed on the ground. They’ve fought with everyone they’ve encountered at one point or another.
Hopefully part of this final season features everyone learning when to stop resorting to violence to establish peace.
As expected, the anomaly plays a big part in the trailer. Surprisingly, we get one answer about it — it’s a wormhole. This opens up a lot more possibilities for exploration.
In Season 6, the group thought that Sanctum would be their place to start over, but now maybe Season 7 will lead them to a new, hopefully uninhabited planet, where they can start fresh without having to fight with the locals.
