Though it wasn’t the season finale that was originally planned, a halt in production means that the upcoming episode of Chicago Fire will serve as this season’s ending. And that ending certainly won’t be without its surprises.

On Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 20, “51’s Original Bell,” someone from Firehouse 51 is injured on a dangerous call. Meanwhile, Foster has a decision to make, and Kidd continues to work with her trainees for Girls on Fire.

Episode description: When one of 51’s own gets injured on a call, Lt. Severide becomes obsessed with helping out. Foster contemplates a big decision. Kidd is concerned for one of her high school trainees.
