Preview — One Day at a Time Season 4 Episode 2: Penny Pinching
Penny buys a new couch and Lydia meets Alex’s new girlfriend on One Day at a Time Season 4 Episode 2, “Penny Pinching.”
One Day at a Time Season 4 Episode 1, “Checking Boxes,” ended with the reveal that Alex has his first girlfriend and her name is Nora. On “Penny Pinching” we’ll get to meet her along with the rest of the Alvarez family.
By the looks of the sneak peek, Lydia won’t be easily won over by this new woman in Pepito’s life, and really, did we expect anything else? We can’t exactly blame Alex for keeping Nora a secret for so long but now that she’s not, what a fun storyline to watch play out this season.
Compared to meeting her son’s first girlfriend buying a new couch shouldn’t be a big deal, but Penny is a master penny pincher, and we all remember the lengths she went to avoid buying a new car. We can look forward to more of the same when it comes to something as simple as a couch.
