As announced in August Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford are departing Legends of Tomorrow, and it seems the time has finally come to say goodby the fan favorites on Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 8, “Romeo V. Juliet: Dawn of Justness.”
“Romeo V. Juliet: Dawn of Justness” is Ray and Nora’s swan song, but in true Legends fashion, they are going to have some fun first. Before Nora and Ray can say goodbye, they’ll have to help the team clean up a pretty inevitable Legends mess when their superpowers inspire William Shakespeare to start superhero genre centuries too early.
With how often the Legends have flaunted their powers in the past, it’s almost shocking that this hasn’t happened before.
Everything about the idea seems really fun, and in the hands of Legends of Tomorrow, you know it’s going to have that extra kick of silly to make it sublime. Also, props to whoever came up with the Batman V. Superman homage for the episode’s title.
But after all the fun and irreverence that the episode promises, the promo pictures suggest a bittersweet episode with lots of heart as we say goodbye to one of the last original members of the Waverider crew and his fairy godmother wife.
How are you feeling about Ray and Nora’s departure? Are you ready to say goodbye?
