The doctors race the clock to save a woman’s life on New Amsterdam Season 2 Episode 14, “Sabbath.”
A mystery illness moves up her body and threatens to affect her ability to breathe if the specialists don’t discover its cause first.
But there are other pressing issues to contend with. Max has to balance a budget before his employees go unpaid.
Plus, Dr. Bloom’s mother (guest star Gina Gershon) is at the hospital. Considering the lengths Lauren has gone to avoid anything that reminds her of her family in the past, it may not be a joyful reunion.
