Preview — 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 1 Episode 6: Friends Like These
The former captain of the 126 (guest star Billy Burke) returns on 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 1 Episode 6, “Friends Like These.” It’s a visit that causes a bit of strife at the beginning for him and Captain Strand.
However, the two men quickly put their differences aside for the sake of the house. It looks as though the Captain Strand’s charm doesn’t fail him, even in the face of this new opposition. He somehow manages to win the former captain over quicker than expected.
Elsewhere, the rest of the crew are working hard to help Mateo pass his written exams. If he fails, there is a chance that not even Captain Strand can save his job.
While the emergencies aren’t entirely the main focus of this show, it is important to mention them. The team has to deal with a ride-share fiasco, a farming accident, and a memorial service that goes terribly wrong.
