Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of January 19th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from new specials to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.
This week’s picks include the return of Station 19 and Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as Star Trek: Picard‘s debut, and more!

9-1-1: Lone Star – Sunday, January 19

The 9-1-1 spin-off is getting a Sunday kick-off and is ready to dive into the lives of first responders in the Lone Star State. 9-1-1: Lone Star debuts on Sunday, January 19 at 9/8c on FOX.
Episode Description: Firefighter Owen Strand leaves New York to move to Austin, Texas, with his son to help rebuild a firehouse after a tragedy.
Curb Your Enthusiasm – Sunday, January 19

Larry and company are back, and he’s ready to ruin everyone’s lives once again. Curb Your Enthusiasm returns Sunday, January 19 at 9:30/8:30c on HBO.
Episode Description: Larry celebrates the new year by making a rival out of Mocha Joe. Jeff and Susie host a cocktail party that results in Larry getting into a misunderstanding with a caterer and inadvertently getting involved in plans for lunch.
Black Lightning – Monday, January 20
Jefferson and company are back and are dealing with the new reality in the aftermath of “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” What will this reality look like for Freeland? Black Lightning returns Monday, January 20 at 8/7c on The CW.
Episode Description: Jefferson (Cress Williams) navigates his new reality following the events of the Crisis, and Lynn’s (Christine Adams) determination to save the meta kids deepens her troubles. Meanwhile, Anissa/Blackbird (Nafessa Williams,) faces new challenges. Lastly, Jennifer’s (China Anne McClain) bond with Brandon (guest star Jahking Guillory) begins to grow.
Arrow – Tuesday, January 21

The final pair of episodes are upon us, and one of the 2 final episodes is being dedicated to a backdoor pilot that offers a differently reality that Mia grew up in. What will that do to all that we know of the Queen-Smoak child? Arrow airs Tuesday, January 21 at 8/7c on The CW.
Episode Description: It’s the year 2040 in Star City and Mia Queen (Katherine McNamara) has everything she could have ever wanted. However, when Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) suddenly show up in her life again, things take a shocking turn and her perfect world is upended. Laurel and Dinah are tracking a kidnapping victim with direct ties to Mia and they need her help. Knowing it will change everything, Mia can’t help but be a hero and she, Laurel and Dinah suit up once again to save the city.
Legends of Tomorrow – Tuesday, January 21
Everything’s working in backward order for the new season as the Legends pick up where they left off on the season finale. Legends of Tomorrow returns Tuesday, January 21 at 9/8c on The CW.
Episode Description: Sara (Caity Lotz), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Mick (Dominic Purcell) are shocked to discover that the Legends have become famous. It seems that everyone except Sara is loving the spotlight, so much so that they invite a documentary crew on board the Waverider to film them as they investigate a strange new blip in the Timeline. The Legends discover that their new problem is none other than Rasputin, who happens to be straight out of hell, and it might be tougher than they thought. Meanwhile, Constantine (Matt Ryan) thinks he knows the reason behind these new blips and informs the team that it won’t be easy to defeat.
Awkwafina is Nora from Queens – Wednesday, January 22

Awkwafina is bringing her own brand of comedy to the small screen with this new series that follows Nora Lum and her cousin as they navigate adulthood. Akwafina is Nora From Queens premieres Wednesday, January 22 at 9:30/8:30c on Comedy Central.
Episode Description: Nora takes her first steps toward financial independence in an attempt to move out of her dad’s house.
Star Trek: Picard – Thursday, January 23

A beloved former Enterprise captain returns and life continues in the aftermath of some massive losses. Star Trek: Picard debuts Thursday, January 23 on CBS All Access.
Episode Description: Retired admiral Jean-Luc Picard — still deeply affected by the loss of Lieutenant Commander Data and the destruction of Romulus — steps into the next chapter of his life.
Station 19 – Thursday, January 23

The Seattle first responders are back and dealing with a horrific car crash. Station 19 returns Thursday, January 23 at 8/7c on ABC.
Episode Description: After a car crashes into Joe’s Bar, Andy and Sullivan lead the team of firefighters as they work to rescue people before the building comes crumbling down.
The Bold Type – Thursday, January 23

The girls are back and dealing with everything from the changing tides at the magazine to cheating boyfriends. The Bold Type returns Thursday, January 23 at 8/7c on Freeform.
Episode Description: Scarlet reels over their new dynamic, forcing everyone to adjust; Jane tries to cope with the changes to Jacqueline’s role at the magazine; Sutton takes stock of her position at Scarlet, as Richard considers a world outside it.
