Preview — The Conners Season 2 Episode 10: Throwing a Christian to a Bear

And they’re back! Our favorite working-class family returns with The Conners Season 2 Episode 10, “Throwing a Christian to a Bear.”

Things seem to be looking up for both Becky and Darlene in their personal lives. Becky has a new boyfriend, who by all accounts seems to be a really nice man — despite being a diehard Cheesehead. 

Darlene is still going strong with Ben as the two of them try to land on their feet professionally. Together they attempt to get the financial backing they will need to start their own magazine and get back to doing what they do best.

Even better than these romantic relationships is the show’s continued focus on Dan and Mark’s relationship. If you want to know what true love and acceptance is, just look to Dan Conner and how he treats Mark like everybody else especially when it comes to the family’s one true love — Bears football.

Episode description: The Conners struggle to accept a Cheesehead in their midst when Becky brings her new boyfriend, a devout Christian and a Green Bay Packers fan, home to watch the Bears/Packers game. Meanwhile, Dan tries to impress upon Mark the importance of the family’s die-hard loyalty to the Bears. Ben and Darlene try to get a loan for their new magazine.
