Mr. Robot Season 4 Episode 12 and 13, “Series Finale Part 1; Series Finale Part 2,” is preparing to deliver us the answers we’ve been desperate to get our hands on since the pilot. But as we’ve come to learn, those answers will have a cost.
After the shocking events of the penultimate episode, it’s clear Mr. Robot is going into the series finale at the top of its game.
The mystery of a missing personality and the possibility of another reality have fans scrambling to understand what we have to prepare ourselves for. We are entering the ending of a four-season show with a clean slate and one too many Rami Maleks. It’s unprecedented and frankly, unnerving.
This is a dangerous place for a series as brilliant as this one to be because we know we will watch Elliot’s world burn to the ground — but will we be satisfied with what remains when the ashes settle?
I sure hope so!
