More ‘Revenge’ Could Be Coming to ABC: Sequel Series in the Works
We could be getting more Revenge sometime soon at ABC.
According to Deadline, the popular drama series that ended in 2015 could be getting a sequel. ABC is currently in the process of developing a follow-up, which would center on a young Latinx immigrant.
Guided by a favorite character from the original series — who has not yet been revealed — the woman arrives in Malibu to exact revenge on a pharmaceutical dynasty, whose greed led to the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family, and a global epidemic.
The potential series comes from the original series’ creator/executive producer Mike Kelley and writer-producer Joe Fazzio. As of now, it’s reported that the series is in its early stages of development with no actors attached.
Inspired by the Alexandre Dumas novel The Count of Monte Cristo, the original Revenge series followed Emily VanCamp as Amanda Clarke, a woman with the goal of getting revenge on the people who wronged her father and changed her life.

Revenge also starred Madeleine Stowe, Gabriel Mann, Henry Czerny, Nick Wechsler, Josh Bowman, Christa B. Allen, Connor Paolo, James Tupper, and Ashley Madekwe.
