Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of October 6th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from new specials to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.

This week’s picks include Batwoman‘s debut, Supernatural‘s road to the end begins, a Girlfriends reunion on Black-ish, and more.

Kara and company are back as they face changes including new ownership at CatCo. Supergirl airs Sunday, October 6 at 9/8c on The CW.

Episode Description: Kara is surprised to find that CatCo has a new owner who has brought in a star reporter; new couples emerge and explore their budding relationships; J’onn J’onzz receives an unexpected visitor.

Batwoman – Sunday, October 6

Kate Kane makes her official introduction to the Arrowverse as we get more insight into her world as she returns to Gotham in the face of her cousin’s disappearance. Batwoman debuts Sunday, October 6 at 8/7c on The CW.

Episode Description: Kate Kane returns to Gotham when a gang targets her father and her ex-girlfriend Sophie Moore.

Madam Secretary – Sunday, October 6

The final season begins as Elizabeth deals with an attempt to dig into her past in the face of trying to pass her first piece of legislation. Madam Secretary airs Sunday, October 6 at 10/9c on CBS.

Episode Description: Elizabeth must fend off a baseless investigation into her past that threatens to derail the first major legislation of her presidency; Henry squirms after his appearance on a late night show results in heightened scrutiny of his marriage.

Mr. Robot – Sunday, October 6

The beginning of the end is near for Elliott as he makes his return. Mr. Robot’s final season begins Sunday, October 6 at 10/9c on USA.

Episode Description: During the Christmas season, Elliott and Mr. Robot make their return; Darlene deals with real trouble; Tyrell is bored; Dom becomes paranoid.

Spencer’s back and dealing with some new territory in the face of the state championship win. All American returns for a new season and offers a tribute to the late rapper, Nipsy Hussle, on Monday, October 7 at 8/7c on The CW.

The Pierces are back and trying to fight their way out of the ASA’s grips as Anissa fights to find another way to help. Will she be successful? Black Lightning returns Monday, October 7 at 9/8c on The CW.

Barry’s back and everyone begins to deal with the crisis and the fallout of last season’s choices. The Flash returns Tuesday, October 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

We get to witness a Girlfriends reunion as Bow tries to impart some feminist wisdom on Diane and Ruby with the help of her friends. Black-ish airs Tuesday, October 8 at 8:30/7:30c on ABC.

Episode Description: When Bow learns that Diane and Ruby don’t believe in feminism, she brings Diane to her feminist group; Junior and Jack help Dre after he realizes he is out of touch with modern-day feminism.

Nancy Drew – Wednesday, October 9

The CW is gaining a new teenage detective as Nancy Drew makes her debut and kicks things off as she becomes a prime suspect in a murder case. Nancy Drew debuts Wednesday, October 9 at 9/8c on The CW.

Episode Description: When a socialite is murdered, Nancy finds herself a prime suspect in the crime, along with a group of other teens present at the scene; the teens must team up to clear their own names.

Supernatural – Thursday, October 10

It’s the beginning of the end for Sam, Dean, and Castiel’s journey, as the final season kicks off. Some familiar faces wil be returning for this final season. Supernatural airs Thursday, October 10 at 8/7c on The CW.

Legacies – Thursday, October 10

Hope has her sights set on Mystic Falls as she becomes determined to find her way back to her friends. Legacies returns Thursday, October 10 at 9/8c on The CW.

Episode Description: Hope becomes more determined than ever to find her way back to Mystic Falls; Alaric continues looking into the mysterious night Malivore was destroyed; as the students leave for summer vacation, Landon stays behind to keep an eye on Rafael.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie – Friday, October 11

Jesse Pinkman is back as we find out exactly what happens to him in the face of managing to escape captivity. El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie premieres Friday, October 11 on Netflix.

Description: The Netflix Television Event El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie reunites fans with Jesse Pinkman (Emmy-winner Aaron Paul). In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.

Plan Couer Season 2 (The Hook Up Plan) – Friday, October 11

The charming, French comedy returns for a new season picking up where things left off as Elsa tries to create a new life and Jules deciding what to do about his affection for Elsa. The Hook Up Plan returns Friday, October 11 on Netflix.

Series Description: Set in modern-day Paris, the eight-episode romantic comedy series follows a group of friends who rally around their perpetually single girlfriend Elsa, who can’t seem to figure out why she is so unlucky in love. In a misguided attempt to build back Elsa’s confidence, they hire a male escort to renew Elsa’s faith in dating, relationships and finding love.
