Preview — Stumptown Season 1 Episode 5: Bad Alibis
Dex and Hoffman team up on Stumptown Season 1 Episode 5, “Bad Alibis.”
Against Lt. Cosgrove’s orders, Hoffman pursues a case and asks for Dex’s help. Where Stumptown Season 1 Episode 2, “Missed Connections,” explores the long complicated history between Dex and Grey, “Bad Alibis” is a chance to explore the new but increasingly complicated dynamic between Dex and Hoffman. It is also a chance for viewers to learn more about Hoffman and add some much-needed depth to his character.
Elsewhere on “Bad Alibis” Dex continues to work toward getting her license to become a certified PI.

Episode description: Despite being ordered by Lieutenant Cosgrove to take time off, Hoffman enlists Dex’s help to investigate a case. Meanwhile, Tookie’s culinary skills come in handy at Bad Alibi, and Dex stresses over an interview to become a certified PI.
