Preview — Stumptown Season 1 Episode 3: Rip City Dicks
Stumptown Season 1 Episode 2, “Missed Connections,” ends on a bit of cliffhanger that foreshadows trouble for Dex’s best friend, Grey. On Stumptown Season 1 Episode 3, “Rip City Dicks” viewers will see the fallout and learn a little more about Grey’s past, along with Dex.
On “Missed Connections” an old associate of Grey’s comes to warn him that someone they were supposed to be holding money for is coming to collect. Unfortunately, both men spent the money thinking the debt would never come due and now this dangerous person from their past is going to come for them instead.
The episode ends with Grey’s associate murdered and Detective Hoffman picking up the case, leaving Grey not only in danger of being next but implicated in a murder. What secrets has Grey been keeping from Dex and how will she respond when she learns the truth?
On a lighter note, Dex will take steps to become an actual licensed PI with the help of a veteran PI, played by Donal Logue, who seems to be a bit of a mess himself. Logue is always a welcome addition and seems perfectly cast in this role. Dex’s interactions with her new mentor promise some fun and silliness to look forward to along with the more emotional developments of Grey’s story.
