Legacies Review: You Remind Me of Someone I Used to Know (Season 2 Episode 3)
It’s that time of year again where the Salvatore school goes up against the Timberwolves, but this time it’s a free for all.
Meanwhile, Lizzie continues to look into Sebastian more, Hope searches the woods to save Rafael, and Alaric ends things on bad terms with the new headmaster on Legacies Season 2 Episode 3, “You Remind Me of Someone I Used to Know.”
With Hope sticking around town to help Alaric chase down any creatures that come back it only seems fitting that she join the Timberwolves. Hope’s interactions with Maya and Ethan originally made me think that they could be something other than human, I mean, it is Mystic Falls. But, after watching Ethan’s arm snap like a twig I think it’s safe to say that they’re both humans.
I’ll be honest, I don’t care much for the match itself, but I do enjoy the amount of time it gives Landon and Hope to interact, eventually leading him to find her doing magic. I know the entire truth isn’t out in the open, but it’s nice that he finally knows she’s not some random human woman who keeps bumping into him.

I feel like this is only the beginning of Landon remembering something about Hope. It also helps that she helped heal Rafael and bring him back home because now both of them are going to be working until they figure out the truth about her.
The only thing that conflicts me about wanting Landon to remember Hope is how obsessed I’m becoming about him and Josie being a couple. I don’t know what it is that changed my mind on them, but they genuinely seem like a cute couple and they both have real feelings for one another.
I’m worried about what happens once Landon realizes who Hope is, or if everyone ends up remembering Hope at the same time because what happens between Hope and Josie?
Landon will remember his love for Hope and what they had, but what does that mean for Josie? I’m sure that’s one way to start a problem between Hope and her, especially depending on how far Landon and Josie go before the truth comes out.

I knew I was right to think that this new headmaster isn’t someone good for the school, but I didn’t fathom that he’d be a weird creature that eats the corpses of other monsters. On top of that, he’s teaching Josie how to use black magic and it’s going to come back to bite her in the butt.
I hope that Alaric figures out what’s up with the headmaster before anything else bad happens because getting Josie to break somebody’s arm is drastic and who knows what he could do next. His motives must include using the students somehow based on how he’s trying to gain their trust by letting them use their powers against humans.
Now, I know that Lizzie hasn’t been the best person to everyone at the school, but who in their right mind would make her hallucinate a mysterious vampire? I think it’s either a hallucination or Sebastian is some other creature who can manipulate what he looks like to pull his victims in.

Either way, I wish that MG isn’t the one who has to catch Lizzie making out with the air. There are continuous hints that something could potentially happen between the two and then there’s always a switch up.
I think that she’s afraid of admitting that she might have something for him because it could ruin the friendship if anything happened.
This season is off to a great start and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here. The storylines are fun, engaging, and make me eager to see what’s coming the next week. My only hope for the season is that we see Lizzie and Josie deal with the merge in some aspects.
