Preview — 9-1-1 Season 3 Episode 2: Sink or Swim
Fans of 9-1-1 are no stranger to crazy natural disasters creating drama — i.e. last season’s earthquake. On 9-1-1 Season 3 Episode 2, “Sink or Swim,” the drama comes in the form of a tsunami.
While a tsunami hitting the Santa Monica pier seems a little outlandish and over the top, 9-1-1 is going to make it work — first and foremost, as a tool to help progress Buck’s character.
Buck and Christopher are caught at the pier when the big wave hits, forcing Buck to take action and be the hero everyone needs. Just because he’s not a firefighter right now doesn’t mean his hero instincts have gone away.
It’s extremely evident that this disaster is going to bring the LAPD, the dispatch center, and the 118 together. And they will be feeling its effects well into Season 3.
