Preview — The 100 Season 6 Episode 10: Matryoshka
After last week’s devastating episode, The 100 Season 6 Episode 9, “Take Me With You,” Abby and Raven are left to pick up the pieces, while Clarke’s brain continues to deteriorate, and we finally catch up with our people inside Sanctum.
The 100 Season 6 has been delivering a heart-racing journey as our heroes struggle with just how difficult it actually is to be the good guys. Written by Drew Lindo and directed by Amanda Tapping The 100 Season 6 Episode 10, “Matryoshka,” is set to take this high-stakes thrill ride into a terrifying climax as we approach the final episodes of the season.
“Matryoshka” is Lindo’s second writing credit this season, having also penned The 100 Season 6 Episode 3, “The Children of Gabriel.” After giving us our first real introduction to the people of Sanctum it will be interesting to see his interpretation of them now.
Russell is perhaps the most sympathetic of the Primes, while also being the most dangerous. He and Abby come face to face for the first time since he “killed” Clarke. Will she work with him to get their daughters back or will she go full scorched Earth with nothing to lose, trusting that Bellamy will save Clarke?
We also see that Echo has teamed up with Ryker to use her spy skills to, presumably, save our friends who have been taken hostage as predicted. Will she be able to save their lives and help them escape?
“Matryoshka” is directed by science fiction legend Amanda Tapping. She’s been hanging out behind the camera for several years now, but you may recognize her as Samantha Carter from the iconic Stargate SG-1, and Helen Magnus from the cult classic Sanctuary.
Tapping and JR Bourne (Russell VII) both starred on Stargate SG-1 together, so long-time fans are excited for their mini-reunion on The 100.
What are your hopes for this episode of The 100? Will Raven and Abby work together to bring down the Primes? How’s Murphy healing from yet another severe wound? Will Clarke be able to find Gabriel before her brain completely melts? Let us know what you’re excited about in the comments!

Although he can be and often is a complete jerk, I’m scared Murphy won’t pull through this time. Also I’m sure Clarke is most people’s favorite character I’m not a fan of Clarke only the acting skills am I a fan, but for Bellamy’s sake I hope her brain doesn’t melt. One more thing, I will miss Kane and was completely sickened by what Abby did, how incredibly selfish of her to do that to him. I can only imagine how hard it was to deny basic survival instincts and pull his own plug so to speak and I think Abby got what she deserved. Having made another choice for him in season 5. Abby became one of my least favorite characters after taking Kane’s choice away from him and all but forcing Octavia to kill inocent people for wanting to choose not to eat their friends and family. That’s all I have to say on the 100 topic, sure hope I didn’t upset to many if you by voicing my feelings about Clarke and Abby 😣
