Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV! We’ll be sharing our picks of what to watch for the week, from new specials to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.
This week’s picks include Euphoria‘s debut, The Detour‘s return, checking into the Grand Hotel and more!

City on a Hill – Sunday, June 16th

Showtime is taking it back to the ‘90s with City on a Hill, a drama that follows the life of a newly minted Assistant District Attorney and his mission to clean up the corruption rampant in Boston. City on Hill premieres Sunday, June 16 at 9/8c on Showtime.
Episode Description: In early ’90s Boston, FBI agent Jackie Rohr works within the corrupt culture, but Decourcy Ward, the new Assistant D. A., wants to uproot the system; after an armored car robbery, the two men find themselves in a possible alliance.
Euphoria – Sunday, June 16th

HBO’s latest drama entry is Euphoria, a series that follows Rue, a young adult fresh from rehab without any plans of sticking to the clean path forward. While she works through her next steps, the people around her are also trying to find their way as they transition to new phases in their lives. Euphoria debuts on Sunday, June 16th at 10/9c on HBO.
Episode Description: Rue returns home from rehab with no plans to stay clean and meets Jules, who’s new in town, at a party at McKay’s house; McKay takes an interest in Cassie; Nate and Maddy, who have broken up once again, attempt to make each other jealous.
MTV Movie & TV Awards – Monday, June 17th
Zachary Levi hosts MTV’s night to commemorate the best and fan-favorite movies, TV, and moments from the last year on the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Performers include Lizzo and Bazzi, while nominees include To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, Big Mouth, The Haunting of Hill House, Schitt’s Creek, and more! The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards airs Monday, June 17th at 9/8c on MTV.
Grand Hotel – Monday, June 17th

Based on the Spanish telenovela of the same name, ABC’s new summer series, Grand Hotel, updates the story and setting as it follows the lives of everyone inside the last family-owned hotel in Miami Beach. The series features Demian Bichir, Roselyn Sanchez, Denys Tontz, Bryan Craig, and more. You can check into the Grand Hotel on Monday, June 17th at 10/9c on ABC.
Episode Description: Wealthy and beautiful guests bask in luxury — while scandals unfold behind the scenes — at Miami Beach’s last family-owned hotel.
Good Trouble – Tuesday, June 18th

Callie, Mariana, and the crew are back and dealing with the aftermath of their decisions from the finale, including the verdict of the Jamal Thompson trial. Good Trouble returns Tuesday, June 18th at 8/7c on Freeform.
Episode Description: The outcome of the Jamal Thompson case is decided, and Callie is forced to decide what she’s willing to fight for; Mariana jumps into a new relationship, but stumbles into a situation she wasn’t prepared to face; Alice attempts win Joey back.
Drunk History – Tuesday, June 18th
Drunk History returns with a roster of drunk comedians and actors ready to tell a host of stories from the past. Drunk History returns Tuesday, June 18th at 10/9c on Comedy Central.
Episode Description: Larry Walters pilots a balloon-suspended lawn chair; Phineas Gage survives an iron rod to the brain; the Greenbrier Ghost’s testimony is used in court.
The Detour – Tuesday, June 18th
The Parker family returns as they start their search for their daughter, Delilah. Will they be able to find her? What trouble will they find themselves in on the way? The Detour returns Tuesday, June 18th at 10:30/9:30c on TBS.
Episode Description: The Parkers embark on a world-wide search to find their runaway daughter, Delilah.
Holey Moley – Thursday, June 20th

ABC continues its summer of game shows with Holey Moley, a competition that adds a twist to your typical mini-golf courses. Commentators and hosts include Steph Curry, Rob Riggle, Jeanine Mai, and Joe Tessitore. Holey Moley premieres Thursday, June 20th at 8/7c on ABC.
Family Food Fight – Thursday, June 20th
ABC is debuting a new food competition show with Family Food Fight, featuring 8 families competing in the kitchen. The last family standing will be named “America’s No. 1 Food Family.” The competition will be hosted by Ayesha Curry. Family Food Fight debuts Thursday, June 20th at 9/8c on ABC.
