Lincoln Younes Previews ‘Grand Hotel’ at the ATX Television Festival [Video]
Among this year’s slate of new summer TV shows is the highly anticipated Grand Hotel, based on the Spanish series.
Executive produced by Eva Longoria, Grand Hotel is set at the last family-owned hotel in multicultural Miami Beach and promises that while wealthy and beautiful guests bask in luxury at the hotel, scandals, escalating debt, and explosive secrets hide beneath the picture-perfect exterior.
Last week at the ATX Television Festival, we caught up with Lincoln Younes on the red carpet to discuss the exciting new series and find out more about his intriguing role as Danny on Grand Hotel.

Younes began by discussing one of the reasons why he’s proud to be a part of the show.
“I’m proud [that] the finished product is something that I don’t think we’ve seen on TV before,” he said. “To have something that stands apart and is very unique is a rarity and is an achievement, I think. And I think that is Grand Hotel.”
Though he wasn’t able to give away too much, Younes did offer a few hints as to what we can expect from his character, Danny.
“He’s a new employee. He catches the eye of the hotel owner’s daughter, much to the disdain of his boss,” Younes explained.
“Everything that you think you know about him, you don’t. And everything you think he’s capable of, you are probably wrong. So there’s a lot of mystery and intrigue, and that was a lot of fun to play.”
Younes also talked about what it’s been like to work with Eva Longoria, calling her a “powerhouse.”
“She does everything, and she always does it with a smile and a joke. And she has this amazing ability to always bring levity and calm to the set,” he gushed. “She’s been an amazing guide and mentor in a lot of ways.”
Grand Hotel premieres Monday, June 17th at 10/9c on ABC.*Additional reporting by Caralynn Lippo.
