Preview — The Flash Season 5 Episode 18: Godspeed
After a several week hiatus, it’s finally time to see the fallout from Nora’s big secret — that she’s working with Eobard Thawne to change the timeline for undisclosed reasons –play out on The Flash Season 5 Episode 18, “Godspeed.”
The revelation of Nora’s connection to Thawne occurred in the final moments of The Flash Season 5 Episode 17, “Time Bomb,” when little time remained for the story to do more than sketch out the barest reactions from the team. However, Barry’s decision to immediately deposit his daughter in a Star Labs cell should probably tell us where his head’s at.
It seems safe to assume that larger conversations about Nora’s secret, her relationship with Thawne, and the nature of the mission they were trying to complete will have to be hashed out in more detail.
But that’s not all Team Flash will have to contend with — because if the title of this installment is anything to go by, we’re about to meet another major bad guy from the comics in the titular Godspeed.

Episode description: Barry and Iris disagree about how to handle their daughter after discovering that Nora is working with Thawne. Team Flash isn’t sure they can trust Nora, so they go through her journal to find out exactly how she came to work alongside their greatest nemesis.
