Preview — Riverdale Season 3 Episode 20: Chapter Fifty-Five: Prom Night

On Riverdale Season 3 Episode 20, “Chapter Fifty-Five: Prom Night,” Betty and Jughead use the Riverdale prom to lure the Gargoyle King into a trap. 

Betty puts her efforts to prevent Edgar and Evelyn Evernever from brainwashing the inhabitants of Riverdale on hold in order to help Jughead stop the Gargoyle King once and for all.

The original Gargoyle King has unfinished business when it comes to the members of the Midnight Club and their offspring. If Betty and Jughead can’t complete the ultimate quest and unmask the mystery villain, Riverdale could be consumed by G&G forever.

But just because Riverdale is crawling with cultists, mobsters, gangs, and drug dealers, it doesn’t mean the students of Riverdale High can’t take a time out to enjoy their prom. Only one thing is certain — it will be a night to remember.

Episode description: CHAOS ON PROM NIGHT — Betty takes matters into her own hands after learning some unsettling news about her father. Mary grows concerned by Archie’s desire to take boxing to the next level. Elsewhere, Cheryl runs into a roadblock during her campaign for prom queen, while Jughead and Betty’s plan to confront the Gargoyle King takes an unexpected turn.
