The Flash takes a break from the ongoing Cicada plot to give us what appears to be an old-fashioned monster fight on The Flash Season 5 Episode 15, “King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd.”
Does this episode even need an explanation? Probably not.
But it could not have possibly come at a better time. The Cicada plot is dragging, Nora’s keeping one too many secrets, and Sherloque’s sure taking his time figuring this whole mess out.
So yes, this is a perfect time to watch a giant shark man fight a giant gorilla — bring it on!

Episode description: Gorilla Grodd attacks Central City, and Barry and Team Flash find themselves teaming up with an unexpected ally to defeat him—King Shark. However, when they hit a snag, they bring in Dr. Tanya Lamden to try to reach the man behind the shark, Shay Lamden.
