Preview — Riverdale Season 3 Episode 17: Chapter Fifty-Two: The Raid
On Riverdale Season 3 Episode 17, “Chapter Fifty-Two: The Raid,” Cheryl cozies up to Edgar Evernever. Jughead does battle with Gladys. Veronica’s home life continues to crumble.
After months of anticipation, Edgar Evernever (Chad Michael Murray) arrives in Riverdale. Unable to figure out Edgar’s endgame, Betty recruits Cheryl to use her powers of persuasion to get intel on the charismatic cult leader. Will Edgar spill his secrets to the ginger bombshell, or will he seduce her into joining the Farm?
Jughead is sure to suffer consequences after destroying Gladys’ drug lab. Motherly affection takes a backseat to the family business, and Gladys isn’t going to walk away from her growing Fizzle Rock empire without putting up a fight. Gladys didn’t get where she is by playing nice, especially with a bunch of teenagers.
Breaking up is hard to do, and it’s going to be even harder for Veronica to watch her parents’ marriage implode. Hiram isn’t likely to let Hermione walk away unscathed after her betrayal. It’s tough to forgive and forget attempted murder.

Episode description: THE RAID — As Betty enlists Cheryl’s help to infiltrate The Farm, Archie and Veronica help an ally from his past. Meanwhile, Jughead’s attempt to put a stop to Riverdale’s drug trade puts him on a collision course with Gladys. Finally, Hiram breaks some surprising news to Veronica.
