The 100: Highlights from Unity Days 2019

Features, The 100, Unity Days

The 100 fans flocked to Vancouver, Canada one last time (as far as we know) for Unity Days 2019. which took place January 4-6th.The Unity Events Canada team set out to make UD3 the best Unity Days ever, and if you ask the fans in attendance, they succeeded.

With one of the best guest line-ups ever, a themed dance party, and the warm, inviting atmosphere that Unity Days always delivers, the three-day The 100 experience was out of this world.

Here’s a look back at some of the best moments from the unforgettable weekend.

Friday’s Dance Party

unity days 2019 the 100

Unity Days 2019 kicked off the weekend with a stellar dance party complete with a playlist full of songs from the show. When attendees weren’t living it up on the dance floor singing Imagine Dragons’ Radioactive at full volume they were chatting with friends new and old, taking selfies and posing at the photo wall, and checking out the incredible list of themed drinks for the evening.

The drink menu consisted of a themed drink for the character of every actor who would be attending during the weekend. From the Abby Griffin (a classic red wine) to the Raven Reyes (a screwdriver) there was a little something for everyone! Check out the menu below and feel free to recreate your favorite characters to celebrate when The 100 returns on April 30th.

The Cast Dance Parties and Music

Friday night’s dance party wasn’t the only one to happen at UD3! From Tasya Teles and Chelsey Reist going everywhere with portable speakers to Paige Turco jamming out to RuPaul at the autograph table, The 100 cast kept the party going all weekend long.

Unity Days 2019 The 100

On Saturday all of the guests broke out into their own impromptu dance party in the autograph room. Eliza got good mileage out of her sky-high platform shoes, Sachin and Tasya wowed the crowd with their sultry moves and the whole gang piled onto Lola until Eliza came to her rescue. Just one of the magical moments fans got to witness (and participate in) at Unity Days 2019!

Lola Flanery and Richard Harmon’s Prank War

Lola Flanery and Richard Harmon are in the midst of a very heated prank war on the set of The 100 Season 6. With the aid of some suggestions from Meta Station hosts Erin Drew and Claire Willett, Flanery pranked Harmon by covering his toilet in saran wrap.

Harmon has yet to get Flanery back as far as we know, but honey she’s got a big storm coming if he’s got anything to say about it! The Meta Station hosts made sure to tell Flanery to call in back up from Harmon’s older sister Jessica. We can only hope we get an update on the prank war before The 100 Season 6 wraps in a couple weeks.

The 100 Cosplay

There were cosplayers everywhere at UD3 and each of them brought joy to every other fan in attendance. From Caitlin and Rogue’s annual Bellarke cosplay with their very own baby Madi in tow to other attendees going all out as Lexa, Kane, Abby, Blodreina, and even Jasper Jordan, this year’s Unity Days was full of perfect tributes to all of our favorite characters!

Positivity One Word at a Time

While Jo Garfein and Cancer Gets Lost were missing from this year’s festivities, the giving spirit was still alive and well at Unity Days 2019. Positivity One Word at a Time had a booth among the other excellent merch tables filled with artwork of everyone’s favorite characters in the form of buttons, stickers, keychains, prints and more.

They earned almost $4000 at Unity Days 2019 and will be making charitable contributions to Unslaved, Koh Tao Primary School, Islamic Relief and APOPO! Check out their Etsy shop to get your hands on some adorable The 100 merch and spread some positivity.

Sunday’s Line Delivery Game

On Sunday the clever moderators from Meta Station had The 100 cast perform lines from the show through a variety of different deliveries such as other characters besides the ones they play, their fellow cast members and iconic voices like Fran Drescher, and Harry Potter.

The day was filled with several iconic performances including Richard Harmon delivering a Lexa line as Batman, Lindsey Morgan bringing an Emori line to life as Tati Gabrielle, Paige Turco putting a sexy spin on Jaha’s message from the Commander, and Tati Gabrielle channeling Darth Vader for an even more haunting rendition of “blood must have blood.”

In the end, Lindsey Morgan and Paige Turco took home the crown, and the whole room took home a lot of laughs.

More More UD4

While Unity Events Canada currently has no plans (that we’re aware of) to revive Unity Days and bring it back for a 4th year, Sachin Sahel is determined to see it live on.

In the final moments of the Unity Days 2019 closing panel, Sahel thanked the fans for another amazing year and lead the crowd in chants for “more more UD4” and even unzipped his hoodie to reveal a homemade shirt hustling hard for Unity Days 4!

Sahel’s enthusiasm is shared by everyone who has experienced Unity Days, it is truly one of the most positive and wonderful con experiences available to The 100 fans. If you went to Unity Days 2019 let us know what your favorite moments were in the comments below! And let us know what you’re looking forward to most on The 100 Season 6!

Thank you to the whole team at Unity Events Canada for another truly stellar year!
