Preview — The Flash Season 5 Episode 14: Cause and XS
It appears that Nora West-Allen is finally going to learn that lesson about how dangerous it is to mess with timelines on The Flash Season 5 Episode 14, “Cause and XS.”
If the promotional materials are anything to go by, it appears that Iris — and possibly several other members of Team Flash — becomes caught in some sort of repeating temporal loop and her daughter must figure out a way to save her.
Given how cavalier Nora has been all season about the way her actions, as a person from the future, might affect or even irreparably damage the world around her, it feels as though this sort of episode has been a long time coming.
Plus, Cisco’s back (finally)! It’s unfortunate that he seems to be currently stuck in the Caitlin Snow loop of only getting storylines that revolve around his dating life, but nevertheless, it’s good to see him again.

Episode description: After Iris lands in serious danger, Nora races to save her mother. Barry puts the finishing touches on the metahuman cure, leaving Cisco with a rare night off so he decides to take Kamilla on a date.
