The Good Place Review: Chidi Sees the Time-Knife (Season 3 Episode 11)
Michael calls a meeting with the Judge to discuss the situation plaguing the point system. Meanwhile, Jason and Janet work on their feelings towards each other on The Good Place Season 3 Episode 11, “Chidi Sees the Time-Knife.”
The Good Place’s penultimate episode sets the scene for a wild ride of a finale, one where Eleanor might become the new Michael.
Michaels plans to meet the Judge in the IHOP (International Hole of Pancakes) is perfect because they can always get away if need be, and the Judge can’t use all of her powers on Michael.

I love that we’re getting to see the return of Maya Rudolph because anytime she’s on screen she’s a scene stealer. Her sassy attitude can’t be beaten.
The Judge’s infatuation and flirtation towards Chidi are hilarious because she doesn’t care that Eleanor is standing right there.
With the Judge approving Michael of building his own neighborhood again I’m excited to see what’s going to happen now that Eleanor, Chidi, Jason, and Tahani are going to be helping him do the tests on the new subjects.

However, I think with how scared Michael is to continue on in the simulation Eleanor might have to step up and be the new Michael while he works on the sidelines. I think that it would be interesting to see Eleanor running things because, technically, if it wasn’t for her nobody would be where they are right now.
Shawn cloning Michael and making a copy of him is downright evil and something I would’ve never thought of happening since Michael is already the original bad place copy. The anxiety and pressure to succeed are too much for him because now he has a conscious and if he fails he’ll have to live with his friends being tortured by a copy of him and never knowing the truth.
Although there’s a lot of pressure for Michael to do good and not fail, I think that it will be a fun adventure with Janet right there by his side. I love that Janet is the one making the residents for the new neighborhood because it means we know for a fact there can’t be any sabotage from the bad place in the experiment.

Speaking of Janet, I like that she and Jason are going to start working on their feelings towards each other. She’s been pining after him for so long and he’s made her become more human, so I think they’d be a good couple.
I hope that since the new neighborhood is going to be in the medium place we’ll get to see Mindy St. Claire become a potential regular in Season 4.
