News, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Hold on to your hats, kids!

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 2 will premiere Wednesday, December 5th on Amazon Prime Video. The Season 2 trailer was released today, and it does more than enough to get fans excited for the new season.

The comedy series follows Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) a New York City woman whose life is turned upside down, allowing her to discover that she has a special talent for comedy.

Season 2 will show Midge continuing to work on her comedy and trying to be as successful as possible. The work itself, though, has an effect on her and on the people around her.

The trailer gives a glimpse of Midge’s struggle, of her partnership with Susie Myerson (Alex Borstein), and of her comedic performances — with one line summing up her life pretty well:

Midge: Comedy is fueled by disappointment and humiliation. Now, who the hell does that describe more than women?

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which comes from creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, won eight Emmy Awards this year, including the award for Most Outstanding Comedy series. It also won the Critics Choice award for Best Comedy Series.
