The Good Place Review: Jeremy Bearimy (Season 3 Episode 4)
Chidi loses his marbles at the thought of going to hell, and Tahani winds up in a sticky situation on The Good Place Season 3 Episode 4, “Jeremy Bearimy.”
I wish that Eleanor and co hadn’t seen the portal, but I am excited to see where this leads the group. They have a pretty rough start, but in the end, I think this is going to change them all for the better, even if they still can’t get into the good place anymore.
Michael’s biggest fear is failing the group, and that’s why even when it’s apparent he has been caught he still tries to come up with some new charade to delay the inevitable. But, Eleanor outsmarts Michael with her vast knowledge from her rough life.

Everyone is affected by the news of their deaths and being brought back to life, but Chidi is the one who takes it the worst. It absolutely breaks his spirit, motivation, and drive for anything because everything he’s based his life on no longer matters because he’s doomed for hell.
I never thought that we’d see Chidi broken to the point where he rips his shirt off in public and prances around with no problems. But, speaking of rips, did you all see those abs? Chidi’s been putting in some work on his off time.
I want to know what was going through Chidi’s mind as he’s buying all these ingredients for this chili and why he had to make it in his class. I hope that being with the group will be helpful and this type of behavior will end because let’s face it, without Chidi’s brains the group wouldn’t be going far.

The news affects Tahani but in a good way. She’s decided that she wants to make others feel good, so she begins to give away her money. She feels so generous right now that she even marries Jason so she can give him half of her thirteen million dollars.
What Tahani seems to be forgetting is that she also just got engaged to someone else recently and now she’s in a bit of a pickle. Larry Hemsworth is going to have a breakdown if he figures out that Tahani married Jason right after accepting his proposal.
I’m interested to see how that’s going to go in the next episode because I feel like Jason is going to blurt it out without even thinking about it.

As for Eleanor, I wouldn’t say it’s a horrible meltdown. It seems like a typical “it’s been a shitty day” type of drinking that we’ve seen her do before. I also thought that she and the bartender were connecting a little, but she didn’t grab his number.
I love that even though Eleanor knows she can’t get into the good place, it doesn’t stop her from not stealing money and returning a man’s wallet to him. She does a good dead and gets rewarded with more than cash; gratefulness and a sense of happiness because she just saved a picture this guy’s daughter drew for him.
Everyone agreed to stay and help Eleanor on this new adventure, so I hope that it all works out.
