Preview — The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 5: Carrots
It looks like The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 5, “Carrots” will finally give us the answer to the burning question on all our minds: Will Shaun and Lea progress their relationship or remain friends?
In other news, Claire continues to fight for the lives of her patients on a level unheard of in the surgical field. When she is presented with a mother suffering from anorexia and a heart condition, Claire takes it upon herself to find a better solution.
Will her idea work? Or will she end up even further away from her goals (mutual respect and trust from all of her mentors, but especially Melendez)?
Finally, Shaun continues to worry about Glassman’s health post-surgery. However, Shaun’s interference may be more of a hindrance than a help.

Episode description: When a patient suffering from anorexia can’t gain the necessary weight needed to survive heart surgery, Claire suggests they perform an experimental surgery which Melendez strongly opposes. Shaun worries Glassman’s refusal to walk the hospital floor will keep him from being discharged and tries to persuade him to ambulate. Meanwhile, Shaun and Lea change the terms of their current relationship.
