On The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 4, “Tough Titmouse,” the past comes together with the present.
Claire helps a teenager hurt during a rock climbing adventure and struggles to calm the fears of their worried parents. It’s a show of Claire’s growing strength as a well-balanced doctor that she is able to handle this case.
Meanwhile, Shaun faces his past experiences being separated from his mother when he cares for an intellectually disabled young man. He finds a way to use his past experiences to help the young man with his current one.
Finally, Dr. Glassman faces the past as well through hallucinations of his dead daughter. He will assess his current situation by dealing with his unresolved issues of the past.

Episode description: Shaun recalls his own past to help an intellectually disabled teenager face separation from his mother, while Claire is put between an injured teenage rock climber and her worried parents. Meanwhile, Glassman’s post-op hallucinations force him to confront a personal tragedy.
