On Riverdale Season 3 Episode 3, “Chapter-Thirty-Eight: As Above, So Below,” Veronica’s dream of opening her speakeasy hits a few snags (most likely the result of Hiram’s meddling). With Jughead and Betty still investigating the mysteries surrounding the Gargoyle King, Ronnie turns to some other pals for help.

Somebody isn’t on board when it comes to Veronica’s plan to create a throwback club where Northsiders and Southsiders alike can mingle over craft cocktails while enjoying world-class entertainment (yes, Ronnie is the Chuck Bass of Riverdale).

As Jughead and Betty continue their efforts to learn what’s behind all the recent seemingly supernatural occurrences plaguing the town, will they discover what the adults of Riverdale are hiding?

Life in juvenile detention grows increasingly difficult for Archie as the Warden recruits him to further his own agenda.

Episode description: When a series of suspicious roadblocks threaten to delay the opening of the speakeasy, Veronica enlists the help of Cheryl, Toni, Reggie, Kevin and Josie to ensure opening night goes off without a hitch. Elsewhere, Betty and Jughead follow different leads to learn more about the strange incidents going on in the town. Finally, some unwanted attention forces Archie to make a difficult decision about his future.
