Preview — New Amsterdam Season 1 Episode 5: Cavitation
New Amsterdam Season 1 Episode 5, “Cavitation,” seems like it’ll be the show’s most intense episode yet! Bloom goes against protocol to try and save a kid’s life, causing even more tension between her and Reynolds.
A break in protocol is enough to deal with, but it appears to be related to an incident in which a police officer shoots a minor. Today, that brings the media to your hospital — so Max must answer to journalists in the midst of it all.
A cavitation is defined as “the formation of an empty space within a solid object or body.” It seems like we’ll get a glimpse of metaphorical as well as physical ones. Dr. Kapoor will also deal with something from his past this week… or, more likely, someone.
