Preview — The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 2: Middle Ground
On The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 2, “Middle Ground,” our doctors have to make a few compromises in order to move forward. These compromises may end up coming at the cost of their greater selves or their careers.
For Dr. Lim, it’s about choosing to do good for someone else over performing surgeries or even possibly keeping her job. It’s something she is passionate and knowledgeable about, therefore she feels compelled to help in any way that she can.
Meanwhile, Shaun continues to fight for his right to be seen, heard, and respected as a doctor in the hospital — all while trying to navigate the rocky terrain that is human emotions.
Finally, we have Dr. Glassman pushing back against his doctor’s request, hoping to deny his imminent deterioration as the doctor he’s always been. He wants desperately to continue to be something for a little while longer.
The real question will be whether these doctors come out the other side the same (or stronger) or if they’ll change completely.
