Cloak & Dagger Review: Stained Glass (Season 1 Episode 3)
Tandy must decide if she wants to continue running or if she wants to stop and try something else. Meanwhile, Tyrone is getting help from Evita and her aunt to cleanse his mind on Cloak & Dagger Season 1 Episode 3, “Stained Glass.”
I want to root for Tandy because she’s had a horrible life and with her powers, she has the chance to change things, but she continues to make awful decisions. It’s a dick move to leave Tyrone out in the middle of nowhere while cops sirens are closing in, yet she doesn’t care at all.
I understand part of her reasoning for leaving him behind, but it’s evident that he’s not trying to kill her. Tandy would realize that if she let Tyrone speak and explain things for more than three seconds.

The destiny is for one of the two, Cloak and Dagger, to die, but these visions do not incline who it could be. These visions are confusing as all get out, and make no sense other than they both get a little push in the right direction. Other than that small bit, total confusion.
Tyrone’s vision shows that no matter what he does when it comes to killing Connors will work because it’s not a right decision. As she puts her light shard down it turns into a pair of handcuffs, and the vision continues with the correct answer.
Tandy is seen as a child running around as her father is being waterboarded in a glass box, under multiple scenarios, until Tyrone yells for it to stop. The darkness surrounds Tandy as he sticks his hands out to her, and she pulls out a light shard, ending the vision.

In the last vision, Tandy is seen popping something in the mouths of a bunch of guys and them dying within seconds. The only thing concerning about the view is Liam is the last guy she poisons, and it begs the question: is Liam a snake in disguise? Is there a secret that we don’t know about and in reality, he’s not good for her?
I hope that the visions have some truth, but also a little bit of trick because I like Liam and it seems like he’d do anything for her. Well, maybe until she left him to be taken to jail.
It’s apparent that Connors and Detective O’Reilly don’t get along whatsoever, and she appears to be a good guy, for now. Hopefully, that means that later down the line there’s a possibility of her helping Tandy and Tyrone take him out, or put him behind bars for murdering Billy.

OLIVIA HOLT, AUBREY JOSEPH
I like that so far she’s telling the truth and she’s only trying to help Tandy, but now she can’t do much because the case is overdue to Connors sticking his nose in others business.
Evita’s aunt knows a lot about Tyrone that she isn’t saying. She’s a psychic who uses a 3D printer to make little sculptures of people and know Tyrone is the latest addition. I hope that only means she knows about him being Cloak, and it’s not anything mischievous or evil.
Other Thoughts:
- Evita and Tyrone would be a cute couple, but if it’s going to work, he’s going to have to skip all of that drama about trying to keep the secret and just let it out.
- I think that the show would be a bit more interesting is Tyrone was light, and Tandy was darkness. A role reversal would be a nice twist.
- I wish there were more happening at the beginning of this season and I wish the pacing were a little faster but other than that no complaints.
