Preview — The 100 Season 5 Episode 4: Pandora’s Box
The 100 finally kicked off the first of its big reunions on “Sleeping Giants,” but it looks like we might be in store for even more on The 100 Season 5 Episode 4, “Pandora’s Box.”
Bellamy Blake has been trying to get back to his sister for six years, and now that he’s got Diyoza’s attention, he might be able to negotiate for her life too with those 283 he’s holding hostage. Given what we’ve seen of the bunker so far, and the teaser trailer below for “Pandora’s Box,” Octavia’s certainly not the same little girl Bellamy said goodbye to last season.
Directed by Dean White, and written by Charmaine DeGrate, “Pandora’s Box” is sure to have us all on the edge of our seats. With the previous three episodes of The 100 really laying the groundwork for Season 5, this is the first episode that appears to feature all three groups of our heroes.
The photos below suggest that McCreary and Diyoza might use their giant space guns to help Bellamy reunite with Octavia and Clarke with Abby. But deals on The 100 are rarely smooth sailing, what might Eligius demand in return for freeing more people than they have in cryo-sleep?
We can’t wait to see Clarke work with her Spacekru friends again, but will they have different goals when it comes to who their people are now? How will Murphy and Raven fare up in space?
When we last saw Wonkru, we left on a cliffhanger with Kane in Octavia’s gladiator ring. Let us know what you think he did to get there in the comments below!
The teaser for “Pandora’s Box” shows us Kane’s moral quandary as he’s forced to kill in the arena. Known for big self-sacrificial gestures, Kane might be in over his head as he tries to appeal to Octavia’s humanity and save her soul.
After watching Kane and Abby reconcile on The 100 Season 5 Episode 2, “Red Queen,” we can’t wait to see the state of their relationship six years later, and how Kane’s current predicament affects the love they share for each other. Where is Abby when Kane is in the Thunderdome? How has life in the bunker and her reliance on those painkillers changed her over the time jump?
Will Clarke and Bellamy arrive in time to help Kane with his Octavia intervention? What creepy torture thing will McCreary do next? What kind of tricks does Diyoza have up her sleeve?
What will Raven and Murphy learn on the mothership? Will Kane and Abby’s love for each other withstand her addiction and his turn as a gladiator? What does Madi think of all of this, and is she excited to finally meet the Skairipa she’s been fangirling over for six years?
