Preview — Reverie Season 1 Episode 1: Apertus
Person of Interest star Sarah Shahi returns to television in NBC’s new drama Reverie.
On Reverie Season 1 Episode 1, “Apertus,” Mara Kint is introduced to the beautiful world of Reverie, an advanced reality program where people can live out their wildest dreams. Mara is called in to help those who love the dream Reverie created too much and have been in it for too long.
Reverie also stars Dennis Haysbert, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Kathryn Morris and Jessica Lu.
The series is created and executive produced by Mickey Fisher, formerly of CBS’s Extant. Tom Szentgyorgyi, Brooklyn Weaver, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey also executive produce. The pilot was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Reverie is produced by Universal Television and Amblin Television.
Episode Synopsis: In the premiere, former hostage negotiator Mara Kint is hired by tech company Oniratech to save people who have lost themselves in a sophisticated virtual reality program called Reverie.
