The Good Place: Top Moments from “Somewhere Else” (Season 2 Episode 13)
The Good Place Season 2 Episode 13, “Somewhere Else,” is the cherry on top to a hilarious and fantastic season.
“Somewhere Else” is heart-warming, intense, and a perfect setup for season 3.
Here are my top moments from “Somewhere Else.”

Secret Guardian
It’s obvious that Michael has become the sole leader of Team Cockroach. He and Eleanor worked together and taught each other what they need to, but now it’s time for Eleanor to play her part and Michael to get them to the end.
I love how Michael and Eleanor’s relationship has changed over the season. They started off rocky and ended up being as close as father/daughter. Well, you know, if Michael were human and not a demon in human skin. But you get my drift.
It makes me have hope that Michael is there, with Janet, watching over Eleanor and everybody else. His continuous rule-breaking to get Team Cockroach where they rightfully belong is courageous and should earn him a spot in the good place, in the end.
The judge did agree with Michael that there could be a potential mess up.
The only thing that’s sad about this situation is Eleanor doesn’t get to know that Michael is watching over her and trying to help.

The Truth Comes Out
Okay, I’m going to be honest, Chidi kissing Eleanor after all the built-up tension and then promptly being ripped away is one of the most upsetting things, ever.
Other than being brought back to life and ruining my Cheleanor (is this an acceptable ship name?) loving heart the kiss between Chidi and Eleanor is magical.
Janet and Jason, however, ugh. I feel like that’s Jason’s sole purpose to still being here. He’s the eye candy for the robot turned human lover. Janet could have easily fallen in love with Tahani and given us that relationship. I feel like it certainly would have been more entertaining.

A New Life
To say that I’m excited for Season 3 of The Good Place to follow Eleanor’s new life as she tries to become a good person is an understatement. This is everything I didn’t know I needed and more.
Eleanor starts off strong in the beginning, but slowly falls back into old ways until she gets another wakeup call. This is something that all humans go through and deal with, which is why I have full confidence that Eleanor will pick back up her good streak and continue to follow through.
There is no way that Eleanor has come this far to fail and end up in the bad place, again.
Eleanor packing up and making a trip to see Chidi is beyond exciting. There’s no way that with Chidi in Eleanor’s life she can trip up and go back to being a bad person. Also, she could possibly fall in love with her soulmate, again.
