Good Behavior Review: You Could Discover Me (Season 2 Episode 5)
Letty and Javier are out on the town on Good Behavior Season 2 Episode 5 “You Could Discover Me.”
Agent Lashever sends the couple on their first heist for her, and they end up at a gay bar full of drag queens. It is a bright and vibrant start to their new normal — for as long as it lasts.
While the location makes the theft Letty is planning more difficult, it is a great opportunity to showcase the drag community. Through the performers’ stories and an exploration of their world, Good Behavior takes their version of a deep dive.

Several drag queen characters, including former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Ginger Minj and Sharon Needles, walk Letty and Javier through their world as the two try to complete their heist before the upcoming FBI sting.
It takes hard work to be a successful drag queen. The way the other performers question Letty’s drag credentials spoke to the closeness of the community.
All of these things educate those unfamiliar with the community without being heavy handed. A little education with entertainment never hurt anybody.
The problem is that the entertainment should include more of the drag queens performing. We get a small look at Rose’s performance as Letty struggles with the heist, but it is a missed opportunity to not have Ginger Minj set the stage on fire, especially since Letty gets a full performance.

While I understand that she is the lead, this is not the time to use her instead of the actual drag performers.
Letty and Javier’s latest adventure takes them into uncharted territory for the pair of criminals, which garner varying results. While Javier’s small worldview serves the story well, Letty’s arc is less successful.
When we learn they will be stealing from drag queens, Letty tries to explain that it will be impossible to do. It is a wonderful sentiment that shows her respect for the community.
Then she jumps on stage without permission and brings the house down. She doesn’t get the same applause as the other performers –she has the entire club on their feet.

It may be a nice moment for Letty, but it feels like a slap in the face to the people much of the hour is spent uplifting. What are your thoughts on Letty’s performance?
Javier, on the other hand, who is unaware of the community, spends the night learning while he tries to rob the place. He struggles to understand it completely, but he is never disrespectful.
For those who may also not know about the world of drag, you could follow along with Javier.
Unfortunately, “You Could Discover Me” is not the strongest hour of the season. Do you agree?
