20 Unforgettable TV Vampires
20 Unforgettable TV Vampires (continued)
11. Klaus Mikaelson, The Originals & The Vampire Diaries
Klaus is not only one of the Original Vampires but he’s also a Werewolf, making him the original Hybrid. He’s headstrong and unpredictable, which made him a force to be reckoned with on both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.
12. Simon Lewis, Shadowhunters
While it’s been hard not to use the word “brooding” in the description of every male on this list, Shadowhunters avoids that cliché with Simon Lewis. He may be a vampire nerd, but he’s still a heroic one.
13. Angel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel
Angel was not only interesting enough to be the love of all of our lives for three years on Buffy, but he sustained us for five more years on his own series.
He was the perfect older boyfriend, evil-ex and supernatural detective, and he did it all while brooding better than anyone else on TV.
14. Santanico Pandemonium AKA Kisa, From Dusk Till Dawn
Not only is she a badass culebra (snake vampire for those who don’t know), she’s also the queen. She will not let any man control her, and she kills anyone who dares try. While she’s definitely not one to be messed with, Kisa’s also compassionate and looks after the culebras who worship her.
15. Aidan Waite, Being Human (US)
In the US version of Being Human, Aidan Waite is a vampire with a ghost and a werewolf for roommates, who works as a nurse to maintain access to blood bags so that he doesn’t have to feed off the living.
16. Grandpa, The Munsters
Depending on the era you grew up in, you probably knew Grandpa Munster as Al Lewis, Sandy Baron or maybe even Eddie Izzard. It may not make sense that his family line spawned both a human and a werewolf, but it doesn’t take away from the charm of The Munsters.
17. Proinsias Cassidy, Preacher
In Preacher, Proinsias Cassidy is a 116-year old Irish vampire on a mission to find God and stay safe from vampire-fighting vigilantes.
18. Drusilla, Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel
Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Drusilla may have seemed crazy, but she was always more on top of things than she appeared. Despite appearing weak, it was clear that she owned Spike and was the driving force behind that deliciously evil duo.
19. Damon Salvatore, The Vampire Diaries
How could Elena Gilbert pick Damon Salvatore over Stefan on The Vampire Diaries? For the same reasons we did. He’s darker, funnier, and way more charming than his brother, while his friendships with Bonnie and Alaric showed that he had just as big of a heart underneath.
20. Eric Northman, True Blood
Eric Northman was one of the most consistent parts of the incredibly inconsistent True Blood universe. He was clever, cold and calculating except for when it came to his progeny, his maker or his love of Sookie Stackhouse. Also, his abs.

Who are your favorite TV vampires?
Do we all agree that True Blood‘s Vampire Bill was the worst? Should I have included Buffy‘s Vampire Willow? Are those things in The Strain really vamps?
