14 Arrowverse Characters Who Would Be Awesome on Legends of Tomorrow
Since Arrow began in 2009, the universe has grown to include several shows.
Each new show has gifted us with several awesome recurring characters, heroes and villains alike. Unfortunately, they don’t often get a chance to really shine because shows have to prioritize their main casts.
This is where Legends of Tomorrow comes in.
The legends are comprised of both heroes and villains. Each legend, aside from Amaya, was initially introduced on either Arrow or The Flash, but once they stepped aboard the Waverider, they were able to really shine.
So many Arrowverse characters haven’t had their story told yet, so why not have them show up on Legends of Tomorrow for a bit? The storytelling possibilities are endless.
Legends of Tomorrow is ripe for a change in its line-up, and so here are a few suggestions from within the Arrowverse.
1. Cupid

Carrie Cutter made a memorable entrance on Arrow Season 3 Episode 7, “Draw Back Your Bow” as a deranged archer Cupid, who was obsessed with the Green Arrow.
For a time she was part of the Suicide Squad, but she was recently seen alongside criminals Liza Warner and China White causing trouble for Team Arrow.
Armed with a big personality and fighting skills, Cupid would be the perfect villain to add to the team. Carrie is a difficult one to wrap your head around, so she would surely shake things up on Legends of Tomorrow.
2. Huntress

Helena Bertenelli was introduced on Arrow Season 1 Episode 7, “Muse of Fire,” when she began tearing down her crime boss father’s empire after the man she loved was killed. Oliver tried to help her, but in the end that vendetta turned her into a vicious killer and landed her in prison.
Comic book fans know Huntress’ story is one of redemption, but Arrow hasn’t had the time for the second half of the arc. Legends of Tomorrow could provide the place for that part of Helena’s story.
3. Vixen

At the moment, Amaya is the Vixen currently on the team, but viewers know her time could be limited.
It was revealed that Amaya’s life ends tragically and prematurely, so she’s traveling with the Legends on borrowed time. Luckily for the show, however and whenever she meets her fate, there’s another Vixen in Amaya’s granddaughter Mari McCabe, played by Megalyn Echikunwoke.
In fact, Mari was originally going to join the team, but Echikunwoke was not available. It would be an emotional passing of the torch if Mari took over from Amaya.
We got a glimpse of Mari on Arrow Season 4 Episode 15, “Taken,” and animated series Vixen. She’s definitely a character worth seeing more of.
4. Stargirl
As a member of the Justice Society of America, Stargirl was introduced on Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 Episode 1, “Out of Time,” when her team of heroes had some questions for the Legends.
Stargirl fought with her team until they were tasked with fleeing across time to keep pieces of the Spear of Destiny safe. Later the Legends found her living in Camelot as Merlin, which is where she wanted to stay.
Things could have happened in Camelot, leading Stargirl to want another change. We didn’t get to know the Justice Society of America very well — other than Amaya of course — so maybe reintroducing Stargirl could allow for another peek at DC hero history.
5. Silver Banshee

Siobhan Smythe was Kara Danvers’ professional rival on Supergirl, but after being bested by Kara, she became the villain Silver Banshee.
Legends of Tomorrow has already pulled characters from both Arrow and The Flash, so maybe it’s time to introduce someone from Supergirl.
Siobhan has a dark edge to her, but when she was first introduced, she was a nice person with serious determination. She had the normal amount of ambition but perhaps was a tad too competitive.
During Supergirl Season 1 Episode 18, “Worlds Finest,” she had assumed the mantle of Silver Banshee, but she was only at the beginning of her life as a criminal. Whether her journey is a dark one or she tries to keep her humanity, Legends of Tomorrow viewers could enjoy seeing her figure it out.
6. Golden Glider

Legends of Tomorrow took Heat Wave’s partner-in-crime Captain Cold away, and so it’s about time someone he actually likes joins the team. Captain Cold’s sister Lisa Snart, for example, would be a great addition to fill that particular void.
Snart, aka Golden Glider, was introduced on The Flash Season 1 Episode 10, “Revenge of the Rogues” when she teamed up with her brother and Heat Wave to wreck some havoc in Central City. She should have a chance to become a legend after her family involved her in a life of crime.
Peyton List would make a great addition to the show. Also, this would give Mick the chance to explore his past, which is an opportunity to show more of Dominic Purcell’s range.
