The Bold Type Photo Preview: The Talk (Season 1 Episode 7)
The Bold Type Season 1 Episode 7, “Three Girls In A Tub,” previews big talks ahead for everyone.
Kat finally gets a story about her own career as she faces the trials of becoming a supervisor. Sutton has to walk the tight rope of her in office relationship with Richard now that Alex knows her secret.
And lastly, Jane must have the “what are we” conversation with Ryan. Although, it seems she already firmly knows they are nothing too serious since she’s also got a date with another man.
It doesn’t look like I’ll get my wish from my review of The Bold Type Season 1 Episode 6: I don’t see how Adena will fit in Kat’s arc this episode. However, I will get to see Ryan, so one for two is fine by me.
In my interview with Dan Jeannotte, the actor who plays Ryan, he hinted that Jane would be making tough decisions in her relationship with Ryan for the sake of her personal and professional future. It looks like The Bold Type will touch on another amazing topic for young women.
Balancing a thriving career and a love life can be incredibly tough for a woman, especially when the corporate world loves to use women’s personal relationships as excuses as to why they might not get a job done as well as a man.
And although I wasn’t too happy with Jane’s narrative execution on The Bold Type Season 1 Episode 6, I’m sure her character will bounce back wonderfully in “Three Girls In A Tub.” I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll continue to explore the repercussions of having a BRCA gene mutation in the upcoming episodes.

Episode Description: Richard is determined to get to know Sutton’s friends outside of the office and invites the girls to dinner, but things don’t quite go as planned. Sutton attempts to network with a new social circle by attending a high tea. While on a date with someone else, Jane comes to a realization about Pinstripe; and Jacqueline is forced to intervene when Kat’s new staffer keeps damaging Scarlet’s social media presence.
