Today at the ATX Television Festival’s “From Actor to Action” panel, Patrick J. Adams announced that he would be directing the milestone 100th episode of Suits.

“I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be directing the 100th hour of Suits,” Adams said during the panel.

“We are blessed on this show with an incredible crew and an absurdly talented group of actors and writers. I’m looking forward to stealing all of their good ideas and getting to pretend they are my own.”

This will be the fourth episode Adams has directed of the show, including the Suits Season 6 mid-season premiere.

Adams also stated in an interview with reporters later in the day that the 100th episode was really about the milestone, and the episode itself likely wouldn’t be treated differently than any other episode.

Celebration of that milestone will happen this weekend, where Adams will be joined by fellow cast members Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, and Gina Torres as well as creator Aaron Korsh at the ATX Television Festival for a script reading of the pilot episode and a special Q&A.

Suits returns for Season 7 on Wednesday, July 12th at 9/8c to USA. The 100th episode will air on August 30th.
