10 Biggest Baddies EVER on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette
With the premiere of Season 14 of The Bachelorette less than a month away, Bachelor Nation has a whole lot to look forward to. From epic romance to major drama, the series never fails to entertain.
Over the last fifteen years — yes, fifteen! — the Bachelor franchise has kept hold of our hearts and introduced us to many unforgettable personalities. And though there have been many lovable contestants to root for, some of our favorite Bachelor alumni are those we loved to hate.
So in anticipation of an entirely new cast of characters, we’re looking back at some of the series’ biggest and best bad guys (and gals)!
1. Olivia Caridi
She started off strong by winning over Ben and audiences alike on night one — even scoring the coveted First Impression Rose. But Olivia’s bold personality soon got the best of her, and she came off as aggressive, catty, and over-confident. And though it took some time, Ben eventually caught on and deserted her (literally — on a deserted island).
2. JJ Lane
Though he eventually won over audiences when he returned to Bachelor in Paradise, JJ’s time as a contestant on The Bachelorette was not well-received.
The arrogant attitude that viewers took issue with is best summed up with the following quote, direct from JJ’s mouth: “More than anything I’m feeling just smugness wrapped inside of cockiness wrapped inside of confidence wrapped inside ‘I just talked to the girl and you didn’t.'”
3. Michelle Money
Villain turned fan-favorite, Michelle Money’s crazy antics and blunt honesty made her many enemies inside Bachelor Mansion. But despite all the opinionated remarks and over-the-top hijinx, she found a way to win over both Brad and Bachelor Nation and is still one of the franchise’s most memorable contestants to date.
4. Bentley Williams
Bentley’s time on The Bachelorette was short and anything but sweet. Having been warned not to trust him before he even arrived, bachelorette Ashley was still immediately smitten.
Meanwhile, Bentley assured audiences that he was completely turned off by the leading lady, but was sticking around to play the game. His awful commentary was incessant but, thankfully, short-lived, as he chose to leave the show after the third episode of the season.
5. Corrine Olympios
Ah, Corinne — the latest inductee to The Bachelor‘s bad girls club. This self-proclaimed business mogul and shopaholic made a name for herself early on in bachelor Nick’s season when she revealed that she had a Nanny taking care of her back home.
Her beef with fellow contestant, Taylor, taught us all the value of “emotional intelligence,” and who could forget her now-infamous escapade with Nick inside a bouncy house? Whether you love her or hate her, you’ll certainly remember her name for seasons to come.
6. Justin “Rated R” Rego

Justin “Rated R” became the biggest villain of bachelorette Ali’s season when it was revealed he had been hiding a girlfriend back home.
And though we’ve of course seen this particular lie countless times before, no contestant’s exit from the show has lived up to Justin’s difficult trek through hotel shrubbery while wearing a cast over his foot. That’s right, Bachelor Nation is still laughing at you, Justin.
