Grimm: Top Quotes from ‘Blind Love’ (Season 6 Episode 7)
“Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.”
On Grimm Season 6 Episode 7, the team takes a trip to celebrate Monroe’s birthday, and, of course, a Wesen problem pops up. In addition to a scary visit from a skull in a mirror, the hour is filled with some absolutely amazing quotes. Here are a few of my favorite!
1. Tummy pain
Diana: “Does your tummy hurt?”
Eve: “No, I don’t think so.”
Diana: “My tummy hurts when I’m sad.”
Eve: “Are you sad?”
Diana: “Sometimes like when my mommy went away. I thought your tummy might hurt because Nick’s not your boyfriend anymore.”
Eve: “Yeah I guess my tummy might hurt sometimes.”
There are so many great things about this exchange. For one, it reminds us that Diana is a child and a cute one at that. Yes, later she goes on a “playdate” with a guy and almost kills him, but Diana can also be innocent.
Eve and Diana have such an interesting relationship. They are two characters who aren’t really “normal,” even among Wesen. It is nice to see the two of them have some scenes alone together, especially when the subject matter is something as sweet (and a little sad) as missing someone.
2. Kelly
Diana: “Sometimes I miss my other mommy too. Her name is Kelly just like my brother’s. You know her, don’t you? I don’t know where she is anymore, do you?”
This is a kick to the gut. It’s easy to forget that Diana spent a good deal of time with Kelly, and while I don’t remember exactly how long they were together, it was long enough for Diana to bond with Kelly.
I love that she refers to Kelly as her other mommy. It just makes my heart happy and also completely devastates me at the same time. I’m imagining what Kelly and Diana’s relationship would be like today. It’s something I didn’t know I needed.
Also, don’t even get me started on Eve’s pure pain and guilt reaction to Diana’s question. Surprisingly, there’s a desire to hug her, which is unexpected.

3. By the way, there’s a demon in the mirror
Eve: “Did you see that?”
Nick: “Swirling blue tornado, skull with green eyes staring right at us? Yes, I saw that.”
Eve: “Have you ever seen anything like that in your mirror before?”
Nick: “No. If I had, I probably would have warned you!”
Eve and Nick are just hilarious in this scene. You come off the shock of whatever the hell was in the mirror to Eve asking Nick if he kept his possessed mirror a secret. Granted, I don’t know how I would react, but I can understand why Eve wanted to know the history of Nick’s mirror.
Nick and Eve have such a fun dynamic, especially since Eve is starting to sort of feel again and show some emotion. I still don’t really understand what’s going on with Eve since she was cured by the stick, but it definitely seems like she is turning back into Juliette or at least turning back into a normal human being.
That said, we never really found out how Juliette was turned into Eve…
4. Get your facts straight
Diana : “Who are you?”
Lt. Grossante: “I’m the man your daddy stabbed in the back.”
Diana: “No, that was Mr. Bonaparte.”
I love that she implies that she knows all the people that her dad has stabbed in the back.Diana is funny without meaning to be, which makes her more likable.
It’s moments like these that are allowing us to finally get the chance to fall in love with Diana. Sure, she’s still terrifying, but we are seeing the more childlike side of her, and thankfully, we have not seen those creepy dolls in a while.
Before, all we saw were the disturbing aspects of Diana. She was someone that you didn’t necessarily enjoy watching, unless super creepy children are entertaining to you. Now, Diana is a delight to watch.

5. Cats for life
Wu: “I’ve been waiting for you my whole live. The only one I’ve ever loved is my cat.”
Wu, you are so precious. I had to include this quote because my cat is currently curled up next to me.
5. BAMF!!
Rosalee: “These are my friends and the people I love, and you are messing with a pregnant woman!”
You should never, ever underestimate Rosalee Calvert. She is a freaking badass, and her skills extend far beyond research. It’s great that we got to be reminded of this fact.
The rest of the team would have been toast if it wasn’t for Rosalee. She figures out what’s going on and saves the day all by herself. Okay, Wu does the dirty work, but still, Rosalee is the MVP of the hour.
