Bones Season 12 Teaser: How Will We Say Goodbye?

Bones, Previews

When we last saw Temperance Brennan, she had been kidnapped by someone surprising.

Whether you saw it coming or not (I didn’t, but I should have), the return of Zack Addy as Brennan’s kidnapper made for an incredible season finale — and a mega cliffhanger leading into Bones Season 12, which will be the show’s farewell season.

Bones will return on Tuesday, January 3rd at 9/8c (note the new time slot) for a shortened final season, but for one that we’ve been promised will leave us with a satisfying ending to the long-running Fox drama.

For starters, it shows Booth fighting to find Brennan as he worries that her life is in danger.

“He took her, and he’s gonna kill her,” Booth says in the video.

The promo also gives us a glimpse of Booth and Brennan’s journey together from the very beginning. It’s hard to believe that journey will be coming to an end soon.

  • Well, first of all, like ALL BONES FANS, we are extremely SAD to see BONES END, and ALL OF US FANS ASKS WHY? But as it must be:
I do hope the last episode is one of laughter, fun & B&B romance. I also hope the last maybe ten minutes each one will talk about the joys of being part of BONES. THIS SHOW WILL BE GREATLY MISSED, [SORRY FOX, BUT, I WILL NOT BE WATCHING OTHER SHOWS ON YOUR NETWORK AFTER BONES] BONES IS THE VERY BEST SHOW ON ANY NETWORK TV and I might add, IT STILL HAS A LOT OF STORIES TO TELL, AGAIN, WHY, CANCELLED.

    • I’m really sad to see it go, too. I think the actors and everyone involved would have probably been happy to go with it a few more years. That said, I’m excited they will actually be able to end the show with intention and give it a proper ending, instead of getting canceled without much notice. I’m hoping that means the show is going to have a good send off.
