Agents of SHIELD: ‘Galavant’ Star Mallory Jansen Cast As AIDA

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., News

We’ve recently had a swarm of casting news regarding Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. It looks like the show will be shaking up a few things since Season 3’s Game-Changing finale.

We had that Ghost Rider reveal, and we know that Jason O’Mara will play the new director of SHIELD.

And according to TV Line, Galavant star Mallory Jansen will be playing the role of AIDA.

Who’s AIDA?

Well, AIDA stands for Artificial Data Analyzer. She’s technically an A.I. In the comics, she’s a Jarvis-like figure to Tom Thumb who’s a genius without special abilities like Tony Stark.

But unlike your run-of-the-mill Artificial Intelligence, AIDA is actually capable of individual thoughts. It seems that she will serve as the main source of conflict on Agents of SHIELD.

In the finale, we learned about how AIDA was getting a body. And now we know that she’s going to be played by Mallory Jansen.
