Wayward Pines Preview: Margaret Is on the Run (Season 2 Episode 8)

Previously on Wayward Pines, Margaret unleashed her fury as she killed Megan and broke out of her cell.

Now she’s on the run from Jason and his army.

You would think that it wouldn’t be hard to find a lone female abbie amidst the small town of Wayward Pines, but with the size of Jason’s army greatly reduced by the abbies outside the fence, it’s proving quite hard for them.

Meanwhile, there is a bigger threat to the abbies outside the fence. In “City Upon a Hill”, we learned that the abbies will do anything to get their leader back.

Are we looking at another abbie attack on the fence?

It appears to me that it’s going to be up to Theo and Hassler to track Margaret down. It makes sense that they would have two people tracking her down, rather than an entire army that could cause a lot of trouble.

Since Theo is now in charge, they should be looking to track Margaret down instead of actually killing her.

Jason seems to have been phased out completely, but I’m guessing his authority among the first generation still remains.

I don’t know how Mario ends up in the hospital, but we can guess that Margaret gets to him somehow.

I’m expecting Wayward Pines to explore Mario’s back story a bit more. He commands Jason’s army, but we have no idea how he got there.

Speaking of back stories, last week’s plot line involving CJ was one of Season 2’s better moments. I completely expect them to do something similar here since they do seem to move the story along quite a bit.
